Brandito makes multi-year commitment to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond’s Wonder Tower
On track to open in 2023, the new CHOR Wonder Tower brings inpatient, emergency/trauma and outpatient care under one roof. Families will benefit from the consolidation of care under one roof, while maintaining the benefits of being connected to an academic medical center. The new facility will house 72 private rooms; an emergency department; expanded child life services; family amenities; additional operating rooms and imaging capabilities. The facility will also help us recruit and retain top providers so that the best possible care is available close to home for kids across the Commonwealth.
In 2021, Brandito made a multi-year commitment to donate $15 for every order placed to this wonderful local organization. We’re pleased to announce that in our first year we raised $50,000 and strive to exceed that donation in 2022.
Working with charity: water
663 million citizens of the world (nearly one in 10 people) are without clean water. The majority live in rural areas and have to spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Taking children away from learning at school and reducing the amount of hours parents can work to earn money.
A change is needed and Brandito is here to help make that happen. Partnering with charity: water, we donated $15 from every order processed and raised $30,000 to fund three new water projects in Nepal. Now that these communities have access to clean water, it can improve the population’s health among many other things. And, that means everything.
Partnership with The V Foundation
The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano, legendary North Carolina State basketball coach. Since then, the foundation has funded numerous grants nationwide dedicated to saving lives in the relentless pursuit of one day finding a cure for cancer.
Brandito is proud to do our part to help by donating $15 from every order we process toward this important cause with a goal of raising $30,000. A gift that’s given in April at Virginia Vine, a fundraising weekend in support of the charity hosted by football icon and former Redskins quarterback, Joe Theisman.
