AR Coordinator (Hybrid) – Keeping the Numbers in Check, One Invoice at a Time

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Receivable (AR) Coordinator to join our team in Richmond, VA! As our AR Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to for managing our accounts receivables, working closely with our CFO, Controller, Sales Team, and clients to ensure smooth financial operations. You’ll be responsible for everything from managing invoice processing to ensuring timely payment collection, accurately applying payments, all while fostering positive relationships with both clients and internal teams. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

Invoice Extraordinaire: Prepare and send out invoices efficiently across multiple platforms and payment methods, making sure clients are billed accurately and on time. 

Payment Processor: Manage incoming payments with precision, ensuring they’re applied accurately to accounts for seamless operations.  

Problem-Solver: Address and resolve client inquiries and disputes with professionalism and care, ensuring any issues are tackled head-on. 

Data Keeper: Maintain and update customer account records with precision, ensuring information is always up to date. 

Proactive Follow-Up: Manage overdue payments and credit requests, taking a proactive approach with clients through a variety of communication methods to ensure timely resolutions. 

Customer Service Liaison: Assist clients with questions about their jobs, billing, or payments, providing support and solutions every step of the way. 

Financial Reporter: Help with weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and assist in preparing client reports as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related area or relevant experience 
  • Experience in Acumatica, Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel. 
  • A strong sense of accountability and reliability—you’ll be an essential part of the team! 
  • Willingness to undergo a background check. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Able to sit at a desk comfortably while working on a computer, for extended periods of time.
