BRANDITO is seeking a highly strategic individual to join our team as a Junior UX/UI Designer, emphasizing a balance between technical proficiency and visual design acumen. In this role, you will be responsible for envisioning and designing the overall structure, visual identity, and user experience of online brand stores as well as supporting our brand team with various projects. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of artistic vision, strategic thinking, and technical prowess to create compelling and immersive brand store experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Technical Implementation:
- Infuse creativity into the brand store, from layout and navigation to product presentation and promotional elements where necessary.
- Utilize UX/UI design to establish the framework for BRANDITO Brand Stores in a manner that can be applied across multiple instances.
- Work with our Director of IT to collaborate with developers and technical teams to implement design concepts using relevant technologies and e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of designs and maintain consistency across various devices and browsers.
- Manage store settings to ensure they support client’s strategic goals
- Configuring brand stores for integrations and applications under coordination of Director of IT
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices
Strategic Planning:
- Architect the overall structure and user flow of brand stores, considering both aesthetic and functional aspects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and operations, to integrate store functionalities that meet business objectives and brand identity.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand project goals and user requirements for BRANDITO Brand Stores and suite of web offerings.
User Experience Optimization and Brand Alignment:
- Prioritize the user experience by implementing intuitive navigation, responsive design, and innovative features to enhance customer engagement for our clients.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the usability and effectiveness of brand stores.
- Work closely with clients to understand and interpret their brand guidelines, ensuring that the online store reflects the brand’s ethos and values.
Graphic Design:
- Design monthly banners for the Brand Stores that align with the client’s brand standards and initiatives
- Assist with product mockups when needed
- Assist the marketing and brand team with ad hoc graphic design requests under the direction of the Brand Director
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular testing of Brand Stores to identify and resolve any issues related to functionality, design, or performance.
- Refining designs based on feedback and usability testing to improve the overall user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and architecting e-commerce websites, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., BigCommerce, Shopify) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
