The Warehouse Lead is a critical role in ensuring our commitment to delivering best-in-class customer service to our customers. The Warehouse Lead collaborates closely with the Director of Operations to orchestrate timely shipments, meeting customer delivery requirements. Additionally, the Warehouse Lead oversees the production schedule, manages inventory levels, facilitates efficient processing of incoming and outgoing inventory, and supervises the warehouse team. The Warehouse Lead must build strong relationships with other team members to create a positive work environment and to enhance workplace efficiencies. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage the production schedule to optimize efficiency and ensure the timely shipment of orders to meet customer delivery expectations
  • Delegate production orders to warehouse staff as orders are placed by customers through various e- commerce platforms
  • Proactively monitor inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained and counts are accurate
  • Report inventory discrepancies or issues to the Director of Operations for immediate resolution
  • Assist in executing special projects on time and to the quality standards set by the client and the
  • Director of Operations
  • Monitor and keep track of established warehouse KPIs, procedures, policies, and safety standards and report them to the Director of Operations
  • Take a hands-on approach to organizing periodic inventory cycle counts
  • Assist in resolving customer service inquiries and issues that may arise during the production process
  • Supervise the warehouse team providing guidance, support, and training as needed
  • Maintain the ability to temporarily complete all warehouse positions including shipping, receiving, fulfilling orders, and kits accurately in the case of a short-staffed warehouse team
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, accepting deliveries, and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments in the designated areas
  • Sort and place items or materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, shipping areas, and workstations neat
  • Follow established warehouse procedures, policies, and comply with OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to Interact in a professional, friendly, and polite manner with colleagues, customers, and vendors
  • Dedicated to being a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous Supervisor experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes frequently, throughout the workday
  • Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, squat throughout the day
  • Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and maneuver pallets throughout the warehouse
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders and occasionally working at heights
  • Demonstrated work ethic with a proactive attitude and ability to act with urgency to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to pass a background check
